Procedure

Eligibility:

Passed 10+2 Science in PCM and must have qualified in Orissa -JEE 2006 or AIEEE-2006,or AICET-2006, or CET-2006. Admission for 75% of seats are made through JEE counseling, and the remaining seats (Management Quota), are filled through counseling at the College from O-JEE/AIEEE/CET* and AICTE** qualified candidates.

	CET-Common Entrance Test conducted by Orissa Private Engineering Colleges Association (OPECA)
	AICET- All India Common Entrance Test conducted by All India Private Engineering & Medical Colleges Association

Lateral Entry:

10% Seats of total intake are open for lateral entry to third semester who have passed Diploma Engineering Examination conducted by the State Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training, Orissa and also qualified in O-JEE (Lateral entry).

Interested students are advised to appear in the O-JEE examination to get admitted through the JEE counseling.

Otherwise, students can opt for Management Quota seats and for that they are to seat for the O-CET or AICET or AIEEE and get qualified.

O-CET application form is available from the College either in person for Rs 500/-, and also by post for Rs 550/- by Demand Draft in favour of Padmanava College of Engineering, payable at Rourkela. The forms are available in selected branches of State Bank of India.

In addition to the above, the Laptop cost will be borne by the student which can be made available on loan from the Bank and payable on yearly installment basis. The approximate installment of a high - end branded Laptop will be Rs. 12000/- per year.
